Used PEQ-2 prices are $1000-1200. Used PEQ-15 prices are $1800-2200. Not sure what you consider DBAL-D2 prices, but it doesnt sound like the deal youre being offered is particularly good.
I’ve seen a lot of Peq-2’s with corrosion. Use lithium or take the battery out if it’s a personal item. Idk why, maybe it’s heating and cooling of the battery when on a rifle, but I feel like batteries inside PEQ-2’s cause corrosion way faster and more often than anpeq 2y other regular item I’ve used alkaline batteries in.
